Dry gardens

Why?
Dry gardens are ideal habitats for endangered insects such as wild bees, bumblebees, butterflies and bugs. Reptiles feel also very much at home here.

How?

  • Pile up stones, sand, limestone gravel/chippings to create a hill or wall.
  • Our tip: Simply convert an old sandpit and plant flower and grass seeds in it.
  • If you only have a small balcony, simply fill a pot with sand or gravel.
